Introduction

Ticksterz exists to bring athletes, teams, organizers, families, and fans together through sporting events and athletic experiences. From youth leagues and tournaments to showcases, camps, clinics, and competitive events, Ticksterz is built to support the sports community in a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment.

These Community Guidelines outline what is expected of everyone who creates, promotes, participates in, or attends events on Ticksterz. They apply to all content and behavior on the platform, including event listings, descriptions, images, videos, messages, promotions, and conduct at events.

These Guidelines are part of the Ticksterz Terms of Service. Ticksterz may remove content or restrict access to the platform if these Guidelines are violated.

Our Core Principles

Ticksterz is grounded in the values of sportsmanship and community. We expect all users to uphold:

• Safety: Athletic events should protect participants, spectators, and staff.
• Respect: Fair play, inclusion, and dignity for all.
• Integrity: Honest representation of events, teams, and competition.
• Compliance: Adherence to laws, league rules, and platform policies.

Prohibited Content & Activities

The following are not allowed on Ticksterz.

1. Violence, Harassment, or Dangerous Conduct

Ticksterz does not allow events or content that promote or encourage:

• Physical violence outside the scope of normal sport competition
• Threats, intimidation, bullying, or harassment of athletes, officials, coaches, parents, or fans
• Hazing, forced participation, or abusive team practices
• Riots, fights, or spectator violence

Normal physical contact inherent to a sport (e.g., football, hockey, wrestling) is permitted when conducted within the rules of that sport.

2. Illegal or Unlawful Activity

Events must comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Illegal gambling or betting
• Sale or distribution of illegal substances
• Unlicensed raffles or lotteries
• Unauthorized weapons or dangerous equipment
• Events that violate venue, league, or governing-body rules

3. Youth Athlete Protection & Safeguarding

Ticksterz takes youth athlete safety seriously.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Any sexualized content involving minors
• Events or activities that place minors in unsafe situations
• Inappropriate coach-athlete relationships or conduct
• Exploitation, abuse, or neglect of youth participants

Organizers of youth sports events are expected to follow all safeguarding laws, background-check requirements, and sport-specific safety standards.

4. Discrimination, Hate, or Exclusion

Ticksterz does not allow content or events that promote discrimination or exclusion based on:

• Race or ethnicity
• Gender or gender identity
• Sexual orientation
• Religion
• Disability
• Nationality

Sporting competition must be conducted fairly and respectfully. Hate speech, slurs, or exclusionary practices are not tolerated.

5. Misrepresentation & Fraud

Organizers must accurately represent their events.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Listing events you do not control or are not authorized to host
• Misleading claims about teams, athletes, coaches, scouts, or exposure opportunities
• Selling fake tickets or duplicate registrations
• Redirecting payments off the Ticksterz platform
• False claims of league affiliation, sanctioning, or certification

6. Unsafe or Unqualified Instruction

Events involving coaching, training, or instruction must be run by qualified individuals when required by law or governing bodies.

Ticksterz may remove events that:

• Promote unsafe training methods
• Encourage performance-enhancing drug use
• Provide medical or health advice without proper credentials

7. Intellectual Property Violations

Do not use the following without proper rights or authorization:

• Team logos, league branding, photos, or videos
• Broadcast footage
• Player images or likenesses

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Organizers must respect participant privacy.

The following are prohibited:

• Collecting unnecessary personal data
• Sharing athlete or parent information without consent
• Posting private or sensitive information publicly

This is especially important for youth athletes.

Spam, Abuse & Platform Misuse

Ticksterz does not allow:

• Duplicate or misleading event listings
• Keyword stuffing or manipulation of search results
• Excessive or unsolicited messages to users
• Using the platform primarily to redirect traffic elsewhere

All listings must be relevant, accurate, and sports-related.

Event Quality & Safety Expectations

Organizers are expected to:

• Clearly disclose event details, schedules, rules, and age divisions
• Communicate eligibility requirements and equipment needs
• Follow venue safety rules and sport-specific regulations
• Maintain appropriate supervision, staffing, and emergency procedures
• Treat athletes, officials, and attendees professionally

Reporting & Enforcement

Ticksterz may take action if these Guidelines are violated, including:

• Removing or editing content
• Canceling event listings
• Restricting features or payouts
• Suspending or terminating accounts

Serious violations, especially those involving safety or minors, may be reported to appropriate authorities when required by law.

If you believe an event or user violates these Guidelines, please report it through Ticksterz support with as much detail as possible.

Context & Exceptions

Certain content that might otherwise be restricted may be allowed when clearly educational, instructional, or historical in nature, provided it does not promote harm or violate laws. Ticksterz reviews these situations on a case-by-case basis.

Updates to These Guidelines

Ticksterz may update these Community Guidelines as the platform evolves, sports regulations change, or legal requirements shift. Continued use of Ticksterz constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
