FAQ

Using Ticksterz to find or organize an event

These questions cover common steps on the platform. Event schedules, participation rules, admission options, and cancellation conditions can differ between organizers, so review the listing for the event you are interested in.

How do I find an event?

Start with all events or browse the event categories. Open a listing to check the date, venue, and event source. Similar names may refer to different dates, so compare the details with your plans before continuing to a booking or registration.

Is spectator admission the same as team registration?

No. Admission allows a visitor to attend under the ticket conditions shown. Team or participant registration is a separate process for entering an activity or competition. Check the event page for the correct option and ask the organizer if the listing does not explain which booking you need.

What confirms my team’s place?

Follow the confirmation requirements published for your event. Submitting a form, paying a fee, completing a roster, and receiving organizer approval can be separate steps. Review your current registration status and any outstanding instructions instead of assuming that the first submission completes every requirement.

Why does an event send me to another website?

Some listings come from an external event source. Their booking link takes you to the provider handling availability, prices, and booking conditions. Confirm the event date, seller, final charges, and terms on that destination before paying. The listing itself does not guarantee that tickets remain available.

Where should I check for a schedule change?

Use the event page and the organizer’s published update channels. Before travelling, compare the latest information with your confirmation, particularly for recurring fixtures with similar names. Contact the organizer about event arrangements that are missing or unclear, including arrival instructions and participation requirements.

How do I start organizing a tournament?

Create an organizer account to begin. Prepare your event details, divisions, fees, and registration requirements before publishing. Ticksterz brings registration, waivers, schedules, results, and spectator ticket sales into one workspace. The planning guides provide additional context for the decisions involved.

How do I get help with a platform problem?

Use the support widget or contact form. Include the page, event name where relevant, device, browser, and the action you were trying to complete. Describe any error message you saw, and keep passwords, card details, and private participant documents out of your message.
